Labor Policies in Colombia

What would you change about the labor policies in your city?

The right to work is a fundamental right that is found in the political constitution of Colombia, being a social obligation of the state, where there are agreements, international treaties and legislation for the public and private sectors. It also includes the right to social security, according to Law 100 of 1993 and other legal regulations.

What would change labor policies not only in my city but also in my country is, above all, contracts for the provision of services, in which the employer saves not only premiums for services, vacations, among others, but also health, pensions, ARL and compensation fund, since the same worker must pay as an independent worker, for not being on the company's payroll. It would also improve the dynamics of the worker's salary payment on the agreed dates, since many public institutions do not.

Another aspect to improve is gender discrimination, since there are many job vacancies in which only male personnel are required, without taking into account the capacities that women also have in all work areas.
